Preparing for Your Session

Digital Intake

Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to your digital intake forms. Please complete these prior to your visit. These forms provide the essential medical history I review before we meet, allowing us to move straight into your assessment and treatment when you arrive.

Arrival & Timing

To ensure the privacy and quietude of every client, there is no communal waiting area or reception. We invite you to arrive at your scheduled appointment time; there is no need to arrive early. This ensures that the transition between clients remains seamless and that your own time in the space is entirely private.

Tacoma Location Protocol

The Tacoma studio is located in The Lodge. The building features clearly visible signage so you will know you are in the right place, and the interior is kept secure to ensure a quiet and private environment.

• Parking: There is a large parking lot located immediately outside the building, as well as free street parking in the vicinity. All parking is free.

• Arrival: Once you have parked, please send me a text message. I will reply to let you know when I am heading down to meet you. This allows you to remain in the comfort of your vehicle until I am at the door to greet you.

• Entrance: Since the building remains locked, I will meet you at the main entrance at our scheduled time and escort you up to the suite.

Bonney Lake Location Protocol

The Bonney Lake studio is located in my home. To protect the privacy of each guest and respect our neighbors, we have a specific protocol for arrival.

• Parking: Please park in the driveway in the designated spot on the far left. To respect our neighbors, we ask that you avoid parking on the street.

• Arrival: Once you have parked, please send me a text message. I will reply to let you know when the space is ready for you to ensure your entry is seamless and private.

• Entrance: From your parking spot, you will see a sidewalk running along the left side of the house. Please follow this path to the designated business entrance rather than using the front door of the home.

Privacy & Comfort

The treatment table is outfitted with clean linens and a table heater to ensure the space is toasty warm and restorative. Professional draping is used at all times.

Communication & Consent

Your comfort and autonomy are central to the work we do. Before we move to the table, we will discuss your goals and establish clear boundaries for the treatment.

• Draping & Treatment Boundaries: We will discuss your preferences to ensure you feel secure and supported. I invite you to let me know if there are any specific areas you would like to focus on or any areas you prefer to have excluded from the session.

• Chest, Ribcage, & Abdomen: Because these regions are commonly neglected in standard bodywork, they are worthy of explicit discussion. In addition to being important in their own right, these areas are often essential to resolving tension elsewhere; for example, chest tightness is frequently a primary driver of neck and shoulder pain. To address these areas, I offer the choice of working either through the sheet or directly on the skin, and I will abide by whichever approach feels most comfortable to you.

• Ongoing Dialogue: You are always in control of the session. We can adjust the pressure, the focus of the work, or the draping at any time.
